Sylvie Goodblatt is a director, writer, and producer creating heightened and arresting theatrical experiences. A passionate collaborator, she is studying devised theater as a directing major in Pace University’s International Performance Ensemble. She is co-founder and artistic director of TOWNN theatre company, and is based in New York City.

  • Sylvie is passionate about developing new works and reframing classics through a countercultural lens. Her next projects include a devised adaptation of short story Haunting Olivia, and Caryl Churchill’s short play Bluebeard.

  • Sylvie has had her writing staged at The Tank, Spit & Vigor, and in academic settings. Her plays explore feminist themes with postmodern framings.

  • In 2023, Sylvie founded the independent theatre company Townn with a group of fellow Pace students. They have produced new works, adapted classics, and interdisciplinary performance events.
